1. My skin is dry. Should I use mineral makeup? Absolutely! While mineral makeup does absorb excess oils & moisture, applying a lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer at least 30 minutes prior to mineral application will protect your skin's moisture barrier.

2. How do I apply mineral eye shadows? Mineral eye shadows are wonderful in that they virtually eliminate the allergic reaction many people have to traditional, non-natural eye shadows. Mineral eye shadow can be applied wet or dry. To apply wet, first place a small amount of eye shadow on hard surface. Then, wet brush and stir into eye minerals. Apply. This will make mineral shadows appear more intense.

3. Is mineral makeup so inert that I can sleep in it? While we would never suggest you sleep with ANY makeup on since this means you're not following a regular skin care routine, sleeping with mineral makeup on is the next safest thing to sleeping with no makeup at all. Because it is non-comedogenic, it will not clog pores.

4. What brushes do I need to apply mineral makeup properly? Two, or at most three. Commonly used are the kabuki brush, the mineral foundation brush, and the concealer brush. However, and depending upon the amount of coverage you are looking for, the kabuki may not be necessary. A kabuki is specifically designed to apply mineral makeup more heavily and it is nice to have one since then you do have the option of more coverage, especially for evening makeup wear.
