04/12: Parabens
Being as we have recently introduced our popular Erth Paraben Free Moisturizer, I thought it would be a good idea to explain why we feel that our products being paraben-free is important.
Though still an extremely popular preservative used in about 85% of beauty & personal care products, in 2004 the Journal of Applied Toxicology reported that parabens had been found in the cancerous breast tissue of several women who had recently had breast cancer. It is now believed that parabens act much like the female hormone estrogen, which in high levels can cause some women to develop breast cancer.
For this reason we have searched long & hard to find not just any paraben-free moisturizer, but what we feel is the most luxurious & affective moisturizer on the market.
